GYMNASIUM - The Westby High School and Junior High Gyms are available upon request (if the school schedule permits.)
FISHING - Sidie Hollow is a short drive away from the camp near Viroqua.
TOWN OF WESTBY - Westby, noted for it's Norwegian settlement, includes many craft and souvenirs. The local drugstore includes an Old Fashioned Soda Fountain.
CITY OF LACROSSE - Located on the Mississippi River, this town is worth a visit. Riverboats and many city parks are just a few of the many attractions of this city.
GRANDDAD'S BLUFF - This historic bluff overlooks the city of LaCrosse, the Mississippi River and three states.
AMISH COMMUNITIES - Around Westby & Cashton are Amish settlements where Hickory Furniture, Quilts & Amish Bakery items can be seen and/or purchased.
WILDCAT MOUNTAIN STATE PARK - Located just east of Ontario with hiking trails, horseback riding trails, picnic areas, cross country skiing and great views from the area's highest point.
KICKAPOO - Canoeing is great fun on the area's most winding river. Put in at Ontario, WI and land within the borders of Wildcat Mountain State Park.
BLACK RIVER - More canoeing with a deeper and wider river than the Kickapoo. The Black River has cool sand hills and a nice rock cliff to jump from.
FORT McCOY - You can swim, hike, camp, or go miniature golfing at Fort McCoy. This is a Army base that can also be toured. Back to Top
Thanks for all you gave to make our Hope High Retreat memorable. I believe that we will be harvesting fruit from the seeds sown there all year long.
