Creation / Nature Programming at LWBC - OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose at Living Waters Bible Camp is to use God’s Word and His Creation, as well as adventure and relationships to draw people closer to Jesus Christ. For this reason, all of our Creation / Nature tours and programs are designed with a purpose to point to God, the Creator.

__________

Creation Museum / Nature Center - WHAT'S INSIDE?
We, at LWBC, were the first museum in the nation to provide a six day creation layout; this format is both Biblically- and scientifically-based. Inside, you'll find various hands-on areas to investigate God's works, a laser display, a star constellation board, an iridescent rock display, multiple insect displays and over 200 mounted specimens including the:
- Bald eagle
- Black bear
- Bobcat
- Fox
- Golden eagle
- Horned owl

An important aspect of the museum is the Creation / Nature Library. Our library is a place to ask questions and to learn. It includes videos and books, an interactive area equipped with a multimedia center, as well as a large selection of programs, classes, and videos. It's full of valuable resources - allowing for further personal research - and it's a great place to conclude a tour of the museum.

__________

Outdoor Programs - SNAKES, FISH AND MORE!
An addition to the museum, we also offer tours of the Discovery Center and the Fish Rearing Pond.

Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is a hands-on place to explore God's creation in action. It includes several permanent residents such as Veronica, the 9-foot boa constrictor, and Joey, the tortoise. Usually, there are also a handful of seasonal visitors. Some of those visitors have included:
- Birds (turkeys, parrots, guinea fowl)
- Fish (bass, sunfish, crappie, trout, a peacock)
- Mammals (hamsters)
- Reptiles (geckos, milk snakes, garter snakes)
- and more! (an armadillo, a tarantula)

Fish Rearing Pond
Every spring the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) brings approximately 8,000 fingerling brown trout to the camp's rearing pond. We feed them and care for them and then in the fall - with the help of the DNR - the fish (now 10-12 inches in length) are released into local streams and rivers.
