Join us for the 2017 Ladies Retreat from September 8th-10th. This will be an opportunity to train and better equip your walk with the Lord. We’ll study God’s Word as we enjoy fellowship and fun activities. Best of all, take time to relax in the peaceful valley of Living Waters Bible Camp.
Our theme this year is UNSHAKABLE. -When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.- Psalm 61:2
Our lives are filled with situations and circumstances that shake us on a regular basis... financial struggles, health struggles, kid struggles, faith struggles... But as Believers, we can be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist, "when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I". Join us for a weekend of relaxation, truth, and encouragement as we consider what shakes us, our Rock, and how we respond to a shaken world.
We are pleased to welcome a long time friend of Living Waters, Sharif Welch!
Sharif's passion is to inspire women to invite God's presence into every area of their life. Taking the gift of God's Word to us, Sharif loves to share the hope and grace she's found through the rough patches of life. Being shaken more than she would care to admit, she's experienced how God's truth is the foundation on which to stand even when circumstances make a rumble.
Sharif lives in Buffalo, Minnesota with her husband Vince of 24 years, her four children and her mom. Raising four kids (a college student, a high schooler, a jr. Higher and an elementary student), she has many teachable moments. Yes, for her children, but mostly for her while "teaching" her children. Many times God gently taps her on the shoulder whispering, "Umm, yes, that's good, you should also take that to heart." Being humbled through experience, the kindness of God and His patience compels her to tell others of His Love through speaking, writing and serving through various ministries. Currently she is sharing God's Love with junior high girls in youth group, multi-generational women in Community Bible Study and the Prayer Ministry in her church.
She enjoys a slow jog, a good podcast, food with family and friends and a hand-crafted latte. For the record she does not enjoy dusting or folding laundry.
